Family and friends can add their own memories, too.

Not at all. It asks a few gentle questions, one at a time, and builds the page for you as you go. You can tap the microphone and just talk instead of typing.

Yes — pets are family too. Choose "A much-loved animal" at the start. It works for the family dog or cat, a champion horse, a show dog or any animal you loved, whether they're still with you or you're remembering them. Add their wins and titles, the places they lived, and the people who cared for them.

Yes. Choose "Tell my own life story" at the start. Everything is written as "I" and "my", and you can keep it private while you work on it.

About five minutes to begin. You can add more photos and stories whenever you like.

Everything is free for 30 days: build the story, put the page live at its own address, share it with family, open the tribute wall, use it at the gathering, and download the movie. After 30 days, if you'd like to keep it, it's $20 once.

Keeping it alive. The $20 keeps the page online at its own address for good, with the tribute wall and every memory, message and photo family and friends have added. It covers the hosting and storage — nothing is held back during the free 30 days.

Nothing during the 30 days — every feature works, even for the gathering. After that, the page closes unless it's kept. We'll remind you before then.

No. It's $20 once ($5 for an animal's page), with no subscription and no renewals.

Tap "Take a photo" and point your phone at the print. We find the photo, crop it neatly and gently brighten it. You can also choose photos already on your phone or computer.

Yes. Drag the photo to move it, pinch or use the slider to zoom, rotate it, or pick a shape: Banner, Portrait, Square or Original. "Auto-crop" puts it back to our best guess.

Up to 150 photos for each life story.

Yes. Your full-size originals are kept safe, and you can download every one of them at any time. The page itself uses lighter copies so it loads quickly for family.

Tap the microphone and talk for up to three minutes. We write down what you say and tidy the spelling and punctuation, keeping your own words. You'll see it before anything is saved, and you can always use your exact words instead.

Yes, and it's one of the most special parts. Once the page is shared, anyone with the link can tap "Add a memory" and write a story, a moment or what the person meant to them, with just their name and email. No account or app is needed.

Yes. When they add a memory they can tap the 🔒 lock to make it private. Private memories are never shown to other visitors. Only the page's owners and the close family the owners choose (children and other immediate family) can read them — owners pick close family in Sharing or People.

No. Web links, email addresses and phone numbers can't be added, and every memory is checked before the family sees it. This keeps the page safe from scams and protects everyone's privacy. The contributor's email is never shown.

You choose, in Sharing: from anyone at all (public), to anyone with the private link, to only the people you share it with. It starts private — before it's shared, only you can see it. Pages never appear in search engines and aren't listed anywhere.

Once it's live, use the Share button to send the link by message, email or WhatsApp, or print the QR code.

Yes. Everything is gently checked for safety before it appears, and contact details like phone numbers are kept off public pages.

Tap the view button at the bottom of the screen and choose: Mobile view for larger text made for phones, Compact view for the same phone layout a little smaller so more fits on the screen, or Desktop view for the full page, like on a computer. You can change it any time.

Yes. Tap Import on the story or photos step and choose a PowerPoint, Word document, PDF or web page. We'll show you the words and photos we found, and you choose what to add. PowerPoint and Word files are read on your own device. Older .doc or .ppt files need saving as .docx or .pptx first.

Tap Build their page & movie (or Save at the bottom). We only ask for your email: it signs you in on that device, saves the story to your account and builds a preview of the page and a movie from everything so far. We'll email you a Keep it safe link — tap it within 7 days to keep the story for good. Stories that aren't confirmed are removed after 7 days.

Until you save, your story only lives on this screen, so we'll check before you leave. Sign up free to save it and come back any time.
